- I retired from Local Government (Libraries and Arts) in 1983 and worked for the next 12 years in the private sector (Theatre and Music Management). After being a Borough Councillor in Tamworth, I became a County Councillor in 2005. I am Secretary of the Tamworth Tenants Federation, Treasurer of the Tamworth Heritage Trust, Secretary of the Leyfields Community Play Project and serve as a Governor of Lark Hall Community Infants School and Coton Green Junior School.
